The Time Travel Guides
A decade or so ago, I wrote a series of books about three time-traveling siblings called the Binkerton kids. This series was called The Good Times Travel Agency, after the extraordinary travel agency that allowed the Binkertons to travel back through time to visit ancient civilizations. Presented in comic-book style, these books were half-fact (historical information) and half-fiction (humorous adventure story) and ALL FUN! They were illustrated by Bill Slavin, published in Canada/U.S. by Kids Can Press and then further published internationally in the U.K., Denmark, China, South Korea, Taiwan and Viet Nam.
That was then. And now — HOORAY! Four of these much-loved books are BACK (Kids Can Press again) with a fresh new look! The republished series — The Time Travel Guides — now offers these books in a classic graphic-novel size and format. You will also notice new titles and new covers, as well as updated information and extended resources at the back. Take a look!
To find out more about these books (and to check out reviews and awards), read on below about the original series . . .
